The Foundation Level builds the structure everything else depends on.
You will develop correct body alignment, centreline control, stance mechanics, and efficient power generation.
The focus is on removing bad habits early and building a body that can support real Wing Chun skill.
Training covers fundamental shapes, positioning, coordination, and core principles governing contact, pressure, and structure…
Taught exactly as they exist within the Gary Lam system.
This level establishes the base required for real progress.

Level 1 shifts the focus from structure to application.
You will begin linking technique to function… refining hand shapes, transitions, timing, distance, and sensitivity.
Emphasis is placed on forward intent, adaptability, and understanding how the system works under pressure rather than in static drills.
This level develops integrated, usable Wing Chun… not choreography.
